Bill Analysis
SB 298 would create the Texas Forensic Science Commission operating account as an account in the general revenue fund. Money collected from the issuance and renewal of forensic analyst licenses would be deposited in the account for the purpose of the administration and enforcement by the commission for the collection of license fees.
