No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. 

Bill Analysis

This bill would authorize the University Interscholastic League (UIL) to adopt rules regarding the use of steroids by students participating in an athletic competition sponsored or sanctioned by UIL, including rules providing for sanctions and loss of eligibility for violation of UIL rules. These rules would not apply to a student that is prescribed steroids, only those who abuse the drug.
