Bill Analysis
This bill would establish a committee with the goal of planning, facilitating, and overseeing annual ceremonies to honor the lives of peace officers that were killed in the line of duty. The ceremony may be funded with private or public funding.
Vote Recommendation Notes
This bill does not have a connection to our liberty principles and we remain neutral. However, it is good to honor the lives of public servants killed in the line of duty and we have no objection to this bill's passage.
