Bill Analysis
This bill would require that a guardian provide information on a ward’s health to relatives against whom a protective order has not been issued to protect the ward, who have not been found to have abused or neglected the ward, and who have elected in writing to receive notice about a ward. The purpose is to ensure that relatives who want to receive updates receive those updates but prevent updates from being required for relatives who do not elect in writing to receive notice about the ward's health.

Vote Recommendation Notes
This bill would enact a procedural change that does not appear to have a connection to our liberty principles, therefore we remain neutral. Despite not having a specific liberty connection this does appear to be good public policy.
