Relating to the creation of a statewide alert system for missing military members.
Fiscal Notes
From the LBB: no significant fiscal implication to the state is anticipated.
Bill Analysis
SB 1622 would amend the Government Code to have the Department of Transportation develop and implement a statewide camo alert to be activated on behalf of a missing military member who suffers from a mental illness.
Vote Recommendation Notes
The creation of an alert system within existing resources for a missing military member neither uplifts or offends our liberty principles, therefore we remain neutral.
