Bill Analysis

The bill would require the 50 school districts with the highest enrollments to maintain certain financial information on their Internet websites, including: total expenditures, total revenue, budget,a visualization chart,and a transaction register for each checking account.

Vote Recommendation Notes

This bill enhances our limited government principle because increasing fiscal transparency of school districts through the reporting of expenditure on the district website. We support 1605.
