Bill Caption

Relating to the consolidation of public notice requirements for certain air quality permit applications.

Fiscal Notes

From the LBB: No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Bill Analysis

This bill would allow a notice of intent and notice of preliminary decision for certain air quality permit applications be consolidated into one notice if the application is determined to be complete not later than the 15th day after the date the application is received, and the preliminary decision and draft permit are available at the time of the commission’s determination.

Vote Recommendation Notes

This is a procedural change that does not appear to have a connection to our liberty principles, therefore we remain neutral.
