Bill Analysis
Given the critical role that the Gulf Coast region of Texas plays in the economy of the United States, its vulnerability to major weather events (such as hurricanes), and the results of recent studies, HCR 106 would urge the United States Congress to provide sufficient financing and support for the construction of a coastal barrier to protect the Gulf Coast region of Texas from storm surges.
Vote Recommendation Notes
HCR 106 neither uplifts nor offends our liberty principles, therefore we remain neutral.
