Bill Analysis
HB 995 clarifies existing law with respect to the revocation of medical powers of attorney upon dissolution of a marriage. This bill would revoke medical powers of attorney of a spouse if their marriage is dissolved, annulled, or declared void. It also would add a new disclosure statement to be signed.
