Bill Caption
Relating to the operation of all-terrain vehicles and recreational
off-highway vehicles.
Fiscal Notes
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
Bill Analysis
This bill would allow peace officers, or any other emergency personnel, to operate all-terrain vehicles for an unlimited amount of distance on public roads, so long as the vehicle clearly follows certain code. The bill would also relax the requirements relating to an orange triangular flag that must be on all ATVs operating on public roads.
Vote Recommendation Notes
This bill does not have a connection to our liberty principles, therefore we remain neutral.
