This bill would authorize a charitable raffle ticket to be a bingo prize.
Vote Recommendation Notes
The state legislature should not have to intervene in order to make this legal. The fact that this legislation is necessary at all is evidence that the state is far too involved in regulating bingo and charitable raffles to begin with. We support HB 874 as a step in the right direction toward more limited government and individual liberty.
