No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Bill Analysis

Under this bill if a student chosen for a Texas Armed Services Scholarship fails to meet expectations, the official who appointed that student would be able to appoint a new student who is eligible.

Vote Recommendation Notes

This bill would not affect any of our liberty principles, since it only deals with how a scholarship can be dispersed and is procedural in nature. We remain neutral.
