Bill Analysis

HB 630 would amend the Government Code to add that the Health and Human Services commission must make the master calendar, all meeting materials for an advisory committee meeting, and live video and audio of each advisory committee meeting available on the commission website. An archived video and audio recording would also be required.

Vote Recommendation Notes

This bill enhances our limited government principle by taking a measure to increase the transparency of the Health and Human Services commission. We support HB 630.
