Bill Analysis

HB 516 would amend current Education Code to make a statutory correction where conflicting requirements exist regarding whether a drivers license applicant under 25 years of age must state whether he or she has completed a driver education course.

This legislation makes an administrative change that has no bearing on our liberty principles. We remain neutral on HB 516.
