Bill Analysis

Under current law, a court reporter may not receive more than the maximum reimbursement amount set in the reporter’s judicial district in any one year. If this bill passes, they may receive more than the maximum reimbursement if their expenses exceed the judicial district’s cap and if the commissioners courts of the county approves the additional reimbursement.
