Bill Analysis
This bill would repeal certain restrictions on political contributions by judges and judicial candidates, making their allowable political contributions more in line with what is allowable for other office holders and candidates.
Vote Recommendation Notes
This bill furthers our individual liberty and limited government principles by removing some restrictions on judicial candidates and officeholders ability to make political contributions, helping restore some free speech and political speech rights to these persons. For these reasons, we support this bill.
