No significant fiscal implication to the state is anticipated.

Bill Analysis

HB 377 would amend the Transportation Code to add that the surviving spouse of a distinguished flying cross medal recipient, world war II veteran, bronze star medal recipient, legion of merit medal recipient, or defense superior service medal recipient would be entitled to one specialty license plate as long as they remain unmarried. 

Vote Recommendation Notes

Specialty license plates neither negatively nor positively affect any of our principles, as such we remain neutral on all legislation relating to specialty license plates.
