Relating to the definition of abortion for the purpose of
the regulation of abortion facilities.

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
Bill Analysis
This bill would add to the definition of abortion, “the act or procedure to remove an ectopic pregnancy," as well as the provision that an act is not considered an abortion if the intent is to save the life or preserve the health of the unborn child or remove a dead, unborn child whose death was cause by spontaneous abortion.
