Bill Analysis

This bill would modify the portion of the code related to defining public nuisances. If this bill passes, it would be codified that a public nuisance offense would not apply to activity exempted, authorized, or regulated by federal law. 

Vote Recommendation Notes

This bill supports limited government by preventing people who are doing their jobs as federal employees or contractors from being subject to frivolous common nuisance lawsuits. We support this legislation.
