Bill Analysis

This bill would require a Medicaid managed care organization that provides behavioral health services through a third party to encourage the colocation of physical and behavioral health staff to the extent possible, require warm call transfers between physical and behavioral care coordination staff, require the MCO and third party to implement joint rounds for physical and behavioral services network providers, and ensure that the MCO makes available to enrollees a seamless provider portal for network providers.

Vote Recommendation Notes

This bill's provisions relate to the administration of a public entitlement program and we remain neutral.
