Bill Caption
Relating to renaming the instructional materials allotment as the
technology and instructional materials allotment and making
associated technical changes.
Fiscal Notes
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
Bill Analysis
This bill would rename the instructional materials allotment the "technology and instructional materials allotment" and stipulate that the fund may be used by teachers to purchase technology for the classroom.
Vote Recommendation Notes
Since this program already exists and this bill merely changes the parameters to specify that technology may be purchased with the allotment, this bill does not affect our liberty principles, therefore we remain neutral.
