HB 3329 would amend the Occupations Code to prohibit a municipality or region from collecting a permit fee, registration fee, administrative fee, or any other fee from a licensed electrician for work performed in the municipality or region.
Vote Recommendation Notes
This bill enhances our free market and limited government principles by prohibiting a municipality from collecting a fee from a licensed electrician for work performed in the municipality making it easier to earn a living. We support HB 3329.
