Bill Caption

Relating to the sale of ale and beer by certain brewers and manufacturers.

Fiscal Notes

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Bill Analysis

HB 3287 would further limit the sale of beer and ale by holders of manufacturers licenses and brewers permits to ultimate consumers.

Vote Recommendation Notes

HB 3287 would place further limitations on the direct to consumer sale of ale and beer on the premises where the ale or beer is produced. This would increase the already onerous restrictions on the burgeoning taproom culture within the craft beer industry. This would infringe on our limited government, individual liberty, and free market principles. We oppose HB 3287.
