Bill Analysis
This bill would require a person in charge of a public water system that furnishes for public or private use drinking water that contains fluoride to provide written notice to customers of the system, the commission, and the department of a reduction or termination of the fluoride in the water supply at least 60 days before the reduction or termination.
Vote Recommendation Notes
It is within the legislature's scope of authority to require public utilities to provide notices to customers. This bill does not affect our liberty principles and we remain neutral.
