Bill Analysis

HB 3066 would amend the Government Code to add that a service member of the Texas military forces who is ordered to state active duty or to state training would be entitled to the same current employment and reemployment benefits of members of the uniformed services and current civil relief and tax relief of U.S. military members.

This bill updates state military forces benefits and neither uplifts or offends our liberty principles, therefore we remain neutral.
