Bill Analysis
This bill would allow a municipality to raise and lower any municipal sales tax by combined ballot proposition.
Vote Recommendation Notes
This bill furthers our limited government and personal responsibility principles by allowing municipalities the ability to vote on raising and lowering any municipal sales taxes. This puts the responsibility of determining local sales taxes at the proper level of government. We support this legislation.
