Bill Analysis
Under current law, the regional water planning group must provide an ongoing opportunity for public input during the creation of the regional water plan. HB 3027 would subject regional water planning groups and their committees to open meetings and public information laws.
Vote Recommendation Notes
This bill enhances our limited government principle by increasing transparency in regional water planning groups. For this reason, we support HB 3027.
