Bill Analysis

HB 2542 would amend the Insurance Code to add that if the Commissioner of Insurance places a title insurance agent licensed under Title 11 or an insurance agent licensed under Title 13 under supervision or in conservatorship, the commissioner would be required to provide written notice of the order to each insurer.

Vote Recommendation Notes

This is a procedural bill regarding written notices from the Commissioner of Insurance and does not appear to have a connection to our liberty principles, therefore we remain neutral.
