Bill Caption
Relating to coverage for certain services related to maternal depression under the Medicaid and child health plan programs.
Fiscal Notes
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
Bill Analysis
HB 2466 would require the Health and Human Services Commission to include in Medicaid or the Children's Health Insurance Program a maternal depression screening for an enrollee’s mother before the enrollee’s first birthday.
Vote Recommendation Notes
The state has the authority to determine the type of coverage in its health programs, therefore the bill neither uplifts or defends our liberty principles. We remain neutral.
