Bill Analysis

HB 1995 would amend the Texas Uniform Trade Secrets Act to add that actual or threatened acquisition or disclosure of information with economic value can be enjoined if the order does not prohibit a person from using general knowledge, skill, and experience that person acquired during employment. It would also revise other definitions and misappropriation claims.

Vote Recommendation Notes
