HB 1985 would update various aspects of statute with respect to debt cancellation agreements for motor vehicles and allow debt cancellation agreements to be offered for vehicle leases.

HB 1985 upholds our principle of individual liberty by allowing consumers to purchase debt cancellation agreements for leased vehicles. For this reason we support HB 1985.
