Relating to the Palo Duro River Authority, following recommendations of the Sunset Advisory Commission.

Bill Analysis
This is a local bill. HB 1920 would modify the river authority to be the Palo Duro Water District; wording throughout current code would be changed to reflect this. Changes would be made to the boundaries of the district, and reasonable penalties administered by the district for the breach of regulation no longer includes imprisonment. The power of the district to issue of bonds and taxes are revised, and limits would be placed on the authority of the district.
