General Revenue Related Funds for HB 1622, As Introduced: a negative impact of
($12,844,072) through the biennium ending August 31, 2019. The bill would make no
appropriation but could provide the legal basis for an appropriation of funds
to implement the provisions of the bill.
Bill Analysis
This bill would change the minimum personal needs allowance for certain residents of long-term care facilities from $60 to $75 per month
Vote Recommendation Notes
This bill violates the principle of limited government by increasing the amount of a state subsidy which the Legislative Budget Board estimates will cost more than $6 Million per year. For this reason, we oppose this bill.
