Bill Caption
Relating to inclusion of career and technology education and
workforce training in the mission of public education.
Fiscal Notes
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
Bill Analysis
This bill would require K-12 schools to include workforce, technological training, and other post secondary activities in the mission of public education.
Vote Recommendation Notes
This bill does not appear to have any connection to our liberty principles, therefore we remain neutral. It is, however, questionable whether this legislation is necessary or useful. School districts are already able to incorporate these ideas in their educational philosophy without being required to do so.
