Relating to the issuance of Blessed are the Peacemakers specialty
license plates.
Fiscal Notes
An impact of $0 through the biennium ending August 31, 2019.
The bill would make no appropriation but could provide the legal basis for an appropriation of
funds to implement the provisions of the bill.
Bill Analysis
Under current law, the Transportation Code introduces specific license plate designs to be made available. HB 1256 would make a new design available that features a black and white United States flag with a blue bar beneath the stars and the words "Blessed are the Peacemakers" at the bottom of the plate.
