Bill Caption
Relating to the authority of certain counties to advertise on personal property owned or leased by the county.
Fiscal Notes
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
Bill Analysis
Current law authorizes county commissioner’s courts to adopt procedures to lease advertising space owned by the county to another entity.
HB 1170 would expand where counties are allowed to lease advertising space to include all personal property owned or leased by the county.
Vote Recommendation Notes
HB 1170 neither uplifts nor offends our liberty principles,
therefore we remain neutral.
