Bill Analysis

Current law authorizes county commissioner’s courts to adopt procedures to lease advertising space owned by the county to another entity.

HB 1170 would expand where counties are allowed to lease advertising space to include all personal property owned or leased by the county.

Vote Recommendation Notes

HB 1170 neither uplifts nor offends our liberty principles, therefore we remain neutral.
