No changes have been made to this bill in House committee. The second chamber sponsor is Representative Rick Miller.

First chamber recommendation:

This bill affirms the principle of a free market. Allowing a university to operate a charter school at any county in the state promotes innovation and competition among schools which will result in higher quality education available to children. For this reason, we support SB 955.
