No fiscal impact.

Bill Analysis

SB 1776 would extend the one year period before a college preparatory grade expires to a three year period following the date the student graduates from high school.

Vote Recommendation Notes

This bill supports the principle of personal responsibility, therefore we support this legislation.  By allowing students additional time to make decisions about their future, this allows them to take more care and more responsibility for their decisions. Students will not feel rushed into decisions about college out of fear a grade will expire.
