Relating to designating
the fourth Saturday in July as National Day of the Cowboy.
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
SB 1522 would designate the fourth Saturday in July each
year as the National Day of the Cowboy. This day would have the purpose of
recognizing the historic, cultural, and social contributions of the cowboy.
We are neutral on SB 1522 because it does not violate our
liberty principles.
