Fiscal Notes
There is no fiscal note for this resolution.
Bill Analysis
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) currently excludes concealed handgun licenses (CHL) from its list of valid forms of identification for entry into airline terminals and other secured transportation system entry points and buildings.
HR 1215 urges Congress to instruct the Transportation Security Administration to accept concealed handgun licenses as valid forms of identification. The resolution does not contain any directives to any state or federal entity.
Vote Recommendation Notes
While this resolution places no encumbrance on state finances and does not amend state law, it is a strong statement to the federal government that supports our liberty principles. We support HR 1215.
