Bill Analysis
HB 99 would require the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board to
establish a system to maintain data about individuals who complete a
medical residency in Texas for a two year period following the residency
completion. Relevant data includes how long physicians work in the
state of Texas, medical specialties, and practice locations.
