Bill Analysis

This legislation would give property owners associations the right to install solar-powered light-emitting diode (LED) stop signs.

Vote Recommendation Notes

We support this legislation under the free market principle, and property rights principle. This bill would allow property owners associations the choice to purchase or install standard stop signs, or LED light-emitting stop signs, and gives them the authority to choose what is best for their property. 

We support this legislation being carried in the Senate by Senator Van Taylor.
