Bill Analysis

HB 3277 would amend the chapter entitled “Independent Ombudsman” within the Human Resources Code to allow audits of all facilities that serve juveniles under juvenile court jurisdiction.

Vote Recommendation Notes

HB 3277 provides an appropriate independent check to authorities that have jurisdiction to our community’s juvenile. This aligns with our limited government principle. We support HB 3277.
