Bill Analysis

This legislation changes from a sworn statement, to a signed statement that the registrar shall consider for the purpose of canceling a voter’s registration immediately, if the registrar receives information that a voter is deceased.

This legislation is clerical in nature, striking the word 'sworn' and inserting the word 'signed'. We remain neutral on this legislation.
