Bill Analysis

The bill would amend the Election Code to prohibit voting systems to be used in an election unless the system complies with the standards adopted by the Elections Assistance Commission.

This is a procedural bill to ensure that voting systems in Texas are in compliance with federal law. HB 2900 neither affirms nor offends our liberty principles, therefore we are neutral.
