Bill Analysis
HB 2894 would
amend the chapter entitled “Regulation of Bail Bond Sureties” within
the Occupations Code to reflect changes to the election of bail bond
board to include a representative of the criminal defense attorneys.
Criminal attorneys would also now be allowed to vote for this
representative.
