Bill Analysis

This legislation would amend the Election Code to require the clerk notate "early voting voter" on precinct lists of registered voters.

Vote Recommendation Notes

We support this legislation under the personal responsibility principle. Casting a ballot is one of the most important Civic duties in America, and some voters choose to cast their ballot early. This legislation would create a notation of who has early voted for precincts to be aware of who has already cast a ballot, which could help cut down on the possibility of voter fraud.
