Bill Analysis
This legislation would amend the Transportation Code to specify that Texas Department of
Transportation (TxDOT) may not charge a fee for providing the Texas Airport Directory, and that the department is not required to issue more than 110
percent of the number of Texas Airport Directories issued in the
preceding state fiscal year.
Vote Recommendation Notes
Because HB 1605 would eliminate a fee, we support HB 1605 as an improvement in the area of limited government.
