Fiscal Notes

This would increase revenue by the state by $2,221,596 through the biennium ending August 31, 2017.  The total increase in annual revenue to local government could be as much as $54,429,121 from the proposed $25 increase.


Bill Analysis

HB 1425 would amend the statutes to increase the fee for executing or processing an issued arrest warrant, capias, or capias pro fine to $75. This would be an increase of $25 from the current fee imposed.

Vote Recommendation Notes

HB 1425 increases a fee, but we will remain neutral as this concerns a procedural matter in the courts system.
