Bill Analysis

HB 118 would waive the licensing fee for a combination hunting and fishing license for qualified disabled veterans, active duty members of the United States Military, or active duty members of the Texas National Guard. 

Vote Recommendation Notes

HB 118 violates a person’s individual liberty because it would give special privileges to certain groups that are not offered to other citizens. We recommend no on HB 118.
